got issue #7 of supergirl, a new 15th doctor comic, and also a torchwood tp (which was on sale for 99p!). the shop was also selling blind bags for £2; the one I got had legion of superheroes #20 - #23 (2006).

week of 5/11/25

bought Legion of Superheroes #24 - 30 (2007), only 50p each! also got power girl #4 (2009) and supergirl #6 (1997).

week of 29/10/25

wanted to get the superman red and blue special, but they didn't have it at forbidden planet :( ended up getting issues 2 and 3 of 1996 supergirl.

week of 22/10/25

comic con on saturday!! I got: Birds of Prey TP #2 (collects comics from '97-'99), 2 TPs of 80s supergirl (DNAoS). In single issues: Supergirl Rebirth #1, Action Comics #1052, #1065 and #1066, and also Action Comics #708 (1995 - matrix supergirl focused!! i wish i had more matrix stuff, but i can never find it :( )

got: justice league red #3 and worlds finest #44. haven't picked up worlds finest in ages, but this issue was focused on supergirl and robin so i thought it looked good (it was!)

week of 8/10/25

DC KO #1!! it was pretty good, but tbh the premise seems a bit boring and it'll almost certainly be rigged to popular characters. also got supergirl #6, probably the best issue so far. had a lot of callbacks, like the silver age costume and her red lantern arc from the new 52 (pros: reminded me of the best plotline from new 52 supergirl. cons: reminded me that new 52 supergirl existed :( )

got elseworlds finest: supergirl and batgirl. was mostly curious which supergirl it featured (it was from the 90s). ended up being kara, but had a lot of aspects of mae (like being manipulated by lex). also thought supergirl's costume was really cool :).

didn't have time to go to the comic shop this week [ :( ] because i went home to go to the crane wive's concert! [ :) ]

week of 17/9/25

moved away to uni on saturday. there's 2 comic book shops in the town: a forbidden planet and another smaller shop. got justice league red #2, which looks to be shaping into an interesting plot. also got issue 1 of the new history of the dc universe - had really cool art but pretty dense. might pick up some of the later issues, but idk.

power girl #19 (2011). decided to start collecting her 2009-2011 series.

got the absolute wonder woman TP. haven't really gotten into the absolute universe yet, but i've heard a lot of good things about it.

justice league red #1. originally only bought this becuase power girl is in it, but it looks like a really intresting plot.

supergirl #4. got a variant cover even though the orignal looks better beacuse it was all the shop had in stock :(
